Reddit user bob4978135) discovered that Tears of the Kingdom has a file size of 18.2 GB, making it the largest Switch game ever made by Nintendo. For comparison, Nintendo’s biggest Switch game currently is Breath of the Wild (14.4 GB).

Tears of the Kingdom pre-orders are now available. It is the first Nintendo-published game to sell for $70, as Nintendo is following PlayStation and Xbox by raising prices by $10. However, Nintendo has clarified that not all of its Switch games may be $70.

In other Nintendo news, The Pokémon Company has officially announced two upcoming expansions for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, last year’s entry in the main series. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will release in two parts, with Part 1: The Teal Mask arriving in Fall 2023. Part 2: The Indigo Disk is scheduled for Winter 2023, with both DLC adventures expanding beyond from the borders of the Paldea region. .

The story of Part 1 will take place in the land of Kitakami as players embark on a field trip, visiting a land of tranquil wilderness, local legends, and a colorful festival where new Pokémon can be found. If you can’t wait that long for new Scarlet and Violet content, you’re in luck because there are Tera Raids featuring new Paradox Pokémon starting today, February 27. Pokemon Scarlet will get Walking Waves, a Suicune Paradox Pokemon with the type Tera. Water, while Pokemon Violet will get Iron Leaves, a Virizion Paradox Pokemon with the Tera Type Psychic.
