You’re obviously familiar with the handsome and talented Hugh Jackman.
He might be best known for playing Wolverine in the X Men Film franchise from 2000 to 2017.
Obviously, the role required Hugh to yell, roar, and generally speak in a much lower pitch than his own, which he says unfortunately caused damage to his vocal cords.
“My teacher in drama school would have been horrified by some of the things I did in Wolverine,” he said in an interview on first row on BBC Radio 4 (via deadline). “I’ve done some damage to my voice playing Wolverine.”
“My falsetto isn’t as strong as it used to be, and I directly attribute that to some of the growling and yelling I did,” he added.
Hugh has suffered plenty of other injuries while playing Wolverine, too. He strained his groin attempting a trick in a harness back in 2000. X Men movie.
